Trip Expectations

In order to ensure a successful trip it is necessary for your expectations to be realistic based on our previous trips.

1) Quantity: Average trip yields vary based on the time of the year and the weather of the day you are here. Catches range from 30 - 100+ bass on a full day trip. However, this is fishing and there are those days when realistically the catch can fall below expectation. With over 360 trips per year on this lake we can ensure you our best effort to make your day a smashing success.

2) Quality: The average size of fish caught on the Stick Marsh is way above the average on a very good lake in the US. Many fish are caught that weigh in excess of 10 pounds on a annual basis. (Samples of fish caught) Getting a big fish is however a matter of making that "right" cast. The more often you cast the greater your chance for that "big bass". 

3) We will offer training in the techniques and methods that work well on this lake. We will fully demonstrate what to use, how to use, and where to fish. That is our job. Your job, if you will, is to listen and use what we are suggesting. 

4) A great part of fishing is the wildlife and environment of the moment and we will do our best to show you all we have. Also camaraderie is a major part of the enjoyment of your trip and we will do our utmost to make you feel welcome and have a great day. 

5) Baits that are preferred are artificial, however there are periods based on weather that live bait might be a better choice. We will recommend live bait only if it seems that it is necessary to ensure a good trip for you.
